FROM A SMALL GROUP OF COMPETITIVE ATHLETES TO THE FASTEST AND MOST TALENTED GROWING COMMUNITY!
Who We Are
Founded at the beginning of 2021 during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic by a group of competitive and passionate beach volleyballers in Pacific Beach of San Diego, Finest SD started with just 10 guys regularly meeting up on Wednesdays to play competitive beach 4-man pickup games.
A couple of weeks later, a women’s net was added. Within a month, we grew to multiple men’s and women’s nets and then the tournament era began. Professional and collegiate beach, indoor, and grass volleyball players of the past, present, and future from all over San Diego quickly caught word of what we were building, and have since contributed to our explosive growth of over 500 players competing within the organization’s first year!
The organization has since continued to host leagues and tournaments with over $10,000 of prize money and a variety of prizes given out to winning teams.
We are committed to continued growth and bringing the competitive sports community together through our tournaments and leagues, all while making lasting memories right here in our beautiful city! We welcome everyone to join and enjoy this incredible community driven by the sports we love playing!
